A Taste of Hope - HSYD's Annual Fundraiser!
This year, Hope Street Youth Development will be celebrating 20years of bringing HOPE to our community. In celebration of this anniversary, we are launging our first annual fundraising event: A Taste of Hope. This event will be held Saturday, April 24 from 4:00 - 8:00PM in the City Arts Building in Wichita's historic Old Town Square.

Members of the Wichita community are invited to explore and taste the numerous catering and local food vendors our city has to offer. On Saturday, April 24 from 4:00PM – 8:00PM at the Wichita CityArts building downtown, we will host food vendors who will give away sample portions of their foods. Admission is free. Guests will be invited to purchase a book of “Taste Tickets” to exchange for samples of food. A Contest for the best Entrée, Best Dessert, and Best appetizer will be held during the event. There will also be a “people’s choice” award given to the food vendor who has the most “votes” for best food at the event. Guests will “vote” for the people’s choice award by selecting tastes from their favorite vendor. The booth with the greatest number of collected Taste Tickets will be named “people’s choice”.
